TAG Minder is a terminology management system for the ontology that structures
data across the
Central Data Repository (CDR)
of the Cohort Coordination Board. It allows researchers to browse, refine,
and correct the tags β concepts, pathogens, interventions, populations, and
more β that are used to annotate studies and drive automated meta-analysis
workflows. Maintaining a clean, consistent ontology ensures reproducible
results across living systematic reviews.
Use the Browser tab to search and edit individual tags,
the Geography tab
to manage location nodes separately from the main tag tree,
or the Network tab to explore the full ontology graph
and the relationships between concepts.
Currently the TagMinder minds β tags.
Data sources
π₯
ISARIC ARC β Acute Research CRF
eCRF variable definitions from the
ISARICResearch/ARC
repository. Each ARC variable (e.g. comor_diabetes) is imported as a tag
node under the eCRF parent, grouped by CRF section (Demographics,
Co-morbidities, Onset & Presentation, etc.). Used in the MISTRA eCRF extraction
panel to mark which data collection variables are present in each included study.
π
WHO Geography β Countries & Regions
Country and WHO-region nodes imported from the WHO administrative hierarchy,
available under the Geography tab. Used to tag study locations
across all observatory collections.
The majority of the ontology β pathogens, diseases, interventions, populations,
study-design concepts, and clinical outcomes β has been hand-curated and continuously
maintained by Anna GΓ³rska and the infectious disease research team at the University
of Verona
(id-care.net),
reflecting the scientific scope of the COMECT, IPC, MISTRA, and Standards observatories.
